    Job Description



    • Our company is looking for a professional Front Desk Officer to oversee all receptionist and secretarial duties at our main entrance desk

    • You will perform a range of duties including answering phone calls and handling frontline inquiries.

    • Your central goal is to provide our clients with outstanding customer service and support. As the first point of contact in our company, the successful candidate will be presentable and friendly, with outstanding people’s skills

    • You should have a talent for multi-tasking, with excellent communication and organizational skills.


    Responsibilities



    • Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.

    • Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.

    • Answer all client questions and incoming calls.

    • Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take down messages.

    • Accept all letters and packages, and distribute them to their appropriate departments.

    • Monitor, organize and forward emails.

    • Track and order office equipment and supplies.

    • Maintain records and files.


    Requirements



    • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or relevant qualification.

    • A minimum of 1 years proven experience in a similar role.

    • Good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices.

    • Superb written and verbal communication skills.

    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

    • Conversance of MS Office programs.

    Job Profile



    • To ensure speedy acquisition, management and retention of all target clients

    • Such customer relationships must also be developed and maintained by providing excellent relationship management backed by innovative products and services that add value to the Customer while minimizing costs and risk to the company.


    Key Responsibilities



    • New Business acquisition

    • Close Monitoring of Customers Insurance portfolio

    • Maintain good relationship with current and prospective customers

    • Achieve set financial Targets

    • Analyze and interpret customer data and recommend value adding insurance products to the customer

    • Prepare periodic reports for the team

    • Assist in preparing the Team’s budget

    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Relationship Manager


    Required Qualification/Experience/Professional Membership



    • First Degree in Social Sciences/Business Administration with a minimum of Second Class honours. Relevant Master’s Degree will be an added advantage

    • A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage

    • 5 years relevant experience and exposure in the marketing of insurance services
